Our crew who is NAWTS certified will go out to your property, dig an 8′ test pit, and take the information to our engineer. Our engineer will then take the information to create plans for your specific septic system. A soil analysis will determine what size of system that your home requires.

Yes, the state requires homeowners to get a soil analysis prior to installation of your septic system.

A soil analysis helps determine what size of system your property will need to ensure you will have a system that works for many years.

Lift stations help a septic system operate correctly. If your property requires a lift station, this may be because your property has high ground water, a certain soil type, or a lot of rock. Lift statioins (AKA pump station) helps pump your sewage from your septic tank into your leachfield. A lift station is made up of a 250 gallon tank, extra piping, C-33 sand, and a pump.

It is important that you contact your local county to find out your requirements for your area. We do not install septic tanks that are smaller than 1,250 gallons. Most counties require the minimum of 1,000 gallons.

We actually make our own septic tanks! RMS Utilities has several forms that have been certified by engineers. Our tanks are made up of concrete. We also can order plastic tanks. At the moment, due to COVID, these tanks are a lot harder to obtain and are more expensive. If you would like to purchase a tank from us or get a price, please give us a call!

You must obtain approval from your county before installing a septic system or installing a leach field. You must obtain a permit from your county prior to install. Once you get the permit and approval from your county, you can contact us for materials on your septic system.

We normally stay booked 2-3 months in advance. Because of the area we are in, we may be required to stop install until the ground is no longer frozen. This time frame is usually from November through March. Give us a call to see what our schedule looks like today!

It usually takes three days for our team to install your septic system. Once install is complete, our office will be in contact with the county to receive an inspection. Once the inspection has been approved, we will backfill and be out of your hair in no time!

Leachfields cannot be repaired. Once a leachfield has been compromised, homeowners will have to get a leachfield installed in a different location. Give us a call for more information!

We offer a one year warranty on our septic system installs. Give us a call for more information!
